This Blend of Malts has matured in unity as a single cask release for 19 years in a Refill Sherry Butt. Back in 2001 the partially already mature liquids have been vatted and re-racked into this beautiful old 500 litre cask and were left alone since then to harmonise until we decided it's time to bottle. As all of our bottlings this release sits at cask strength naturally at 45.9% ABV.
 
Blair Bowman's tasting notes:
N: Wow - amazing amounts of dried tropical funk and sweet citrus freshness.
Very ripe bananas, dried mango but with some fresh citrus zing, red grapefruit
peel. Black pepper spices and cloves with a hint of star anise later.
 
P: Really good mouthfeel with coating textures. Layers of tropical fruits unfold to
old leather chairs and freshly waxed mahogany. Warming spices come later but
are well integrated with the citrus notes. Really well balanced and integrated.
Excellent combinations of old tropical funk, fresh citrus sweetness and warming
spice.
 
F: Very long and lingering. Very quaffable and moreish.
